About Dr. Nilsson
Hi. I'm Dr. Elsa Nilsson.
I graduated from UW School of Dentistry in 2013 and spent five years in a group practice in Bellevue. Good work, good team -- but I kept noticing how much of what stressed patients out was structural. The rushing, the upselling, the "we'll mail you a bill" attitude.
I opened Nilsson Dental Studio in Capitol Hill in 2018 because I wanted to practice the way I'd want to be treated. Longer appointments. Honest conversations. A space that felt calm rather than clinical.
The practice has grown entirely by word of mouth, which tells me we got the important things right.
I live in Capitol Hill with my partner and an unreasonable number of houseplants.
